Our new Polyurethane (PU) Positioning Handle Underpad is a great product to help a caregiver move a person who is bed ridden. Simply grasp the handles and move the person on the bed pad. Reduces strain on the back and makes repositioning a patient much easier. Please Note: This underpad is not meant to lift, transfer or suspend a patient it is a positioning aid. It is very helpful when changing bed sheets, diapers, applying creams/ointments, etc...

A PU film lamination process makes this bed pad waterproof. PU is a layer of plastic film that is laminated onto the back of the Underpad. Other Washable Underpads normally use polyvinyl chloride (PVC) on the backs of their products which makes them environmentally unfriendly.

The PU film comes from blown extrusion process which use less energy to produce then compared to PVC. The PU lamination process uses less energy to manufacturer, creates less pollution, and is easier to dispose of at waste treatment plants than standard PVC.

PU is softer and weighs less then the tradition PVC which means it costs less to ship.

Laundry costs are usually calculated by weight and volume. PU backed Underpads are lighter and more products can be washed and dried at any given time.

White high performance polyester facing. The polyester cloth is stain resistant, is does not bunch up and cause bed sores, and the flat design takes up much less room to store the items.

Bleach is not needed with this product. The polyester stain resistant materials make laundering easy.
